Symphony Supper: Feed the Hungry this Holiday Season

Please join the Symphony in helping to feed the hungry this holiday season. Enjoy a pre-concert dinner at Basta Trattoria before the New Haven Holiday Extravaganza, all while giving back to the New Haven community! Proceeds from this evening’s Symphony Supper will be donated to the Community Soup Kitchen.

Tickets are $45/Person for a prix fixe menu (drinks not included).

House-made Bread – Puglia Extra Virgin Olive Oil

APPETIZERS

A Nonna’s Meatballs
Handmade and tender from Black Angus, with a touch of parmesan cheese, just like nonna made. Served in our warm San Marzano tomato sauce with caramelized onions and a dollop of locally produced hand-packed ricotta

Arugula Salad
Baby arugula tossed with heirloom tomatoes, lemon, extra virgin olive oil finished with shaved Grana Padano cheese

ENTREES

Scaloppini di Pollo
Tender, thin slices of chicken breast, sautéed in extra virgin olive oil and garlic, then pan-braised in a sauce of lemon, white wine, capers, and butter

Penne Caprese
Penne pasta tossed in our San Marzano tomato sauce and fresh basil with pieces of locally produced fresh mozzarella

(contorni: grilled asparagus)

DESSERT

 Crème Brûlée
The quintessential chilled custard with a caramelized sugar topping.
