These programs are designed for students ages 8-11\, and they are free and open to the public this year at venues in New Haven and Shelton. \nAt this concert\, you will hear all of the different\, amazing sounds an orchestra can make\, from historic composers like Felix Mendelssohn and Giacomo Rossini\, up to living composers of today\, like Jessie Montgomery and Gabriella Lena Frank.  \nRegister for Tickets\nThe Music\nGiacomo Rossini Overture to Barber of Seville\nJessie Montgomery Starburst\nBela Bartok Romanian Dances\nGabriella Lena Frank Leyandes: An Andean Walkabout (VI. Coqueteos)\nFelix Mendelssohn Midsummer Night’s Dream (Scherzo)\nSergei Prokofiev Symphony No. 1 (IV) \nThe Performers\nNew Haven Symphony Orchestra\nAlasdair Neale\, conductor & music director \nTickets\n\nYou must register for your free tickets through the Symphony’s Box Office. You can register online using the button below or call (203) 787-4282 Monday-Friday from 12-5pm.
