Join the NHSO for holiday concerts sure to fill your holiday season with cheer!

A VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS

Snuggle up for a Sleigh Ride and get ready to Jingle Bell Rock with the NHSO Pops and Principal Pops Conductor JERRY STEICHEN at Holiday Extravaganza—A Victorian Christmas. The concert includes Victorian carols sung in celebration of Charles Dickens’ 200th birthday as well as traditional favorites like White Christmas and Winter Wonderland. Guest artists include The Elm City Girls’ Choir, Metropolitan Opera soprano JENNIFER AYLMER, and NHSO Principal Harpist JENNIFER HOULT. Of course the holidays with the NHSO wouldn’t be complete without the annual audience sing-a-long. Tickets are available for the Thursday, December 8, 7:30pm performance at Fairfield University, Quick Center for the Arts or Saturday, December 10, 2:30pm performance at Hamden Middle School. (Sorry, our Shelton performance is SOLD OUT!).

Celebrate the spirit of the season by bringing non-perishable food items to the Holiday Extravaganza concerts in Hamden and Shelton. Donations help the Junior League of Greater New Haven’s Hunger Awareness Committee to support the Connecticut Food Bank.
