Tchiakovsky’s Fifth
October 17

The NHSO proudly welcomes international violin star Jennifer Koh to the Woolsey stage to perform Barber’s Violin Concerto. Renowned for both her musical talent and powerful lectures on diversity in the arts, Koh mesmerizes audiences with playing that combines intensity of temperament with poise and elegance. Bookending Koh’s performance will be These Worlds in Us, Missy’s Mazzoli’s ode to the military Veteran experience, and Tchaikovsky’s bombastic and sumptuous Symphony No. 5.
