What is This?

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra reaches 20,000 students, parents, teachers, and families through dozens of educational programs each year.

We rely on our donors to make this possible. Together, we bring the joy of music to students in urban, suburban, and rural areas across Connecticut.

Your generous support goes toward our robust educational programs, including music education lessons, classes, and performances for children in the concert hall, the classroom, and in the community.

Levels of Contribution

Your support matters! Help the Symphony bring expectational programs like these to the community.

Whole Note $500

At the whole note level, you support the “whole” education program that annually serves 20,000 students, teachers, families, and adults through innovative programming.

Half Note $250

Contributions at the half note level are enough to cover the cost of a Creating Musical Readers program in a community center, pre-school, or elementary school.

Quarter Note $125

The quarter note level can underwrite an NHSO musician coaching or side-by-side play-along experience during in-school music ensemble classes.

Eighth Note $60

The eighth note level provides enough funds to underwrite an Instrument Discovery Zone in schools and community centers. These experiences are often a child’s first opportunity to play a musical instrument.

Sixteenth Note $35

The sixteenth note level equates to the cost of four students receiving admission into our FREE Young People’s Concert, which is often a child’s first concert experience.
