Linedy Genao is a fast-rising superstar on Broadway. With high school musical theater experience and a Business degree from UConn, she bet on herself and auditioned for the first open call for Gloria & Emilio Estefan’s ON YOUR FEET. After receiving her first Broadway bound show offer for OYF, she went on to play the Alana/Zoe understudy role in DEAR EVAN HANSEN prior to its closing on Broadway, as well joining the 1st National Tour in the same roles.
Most recently, Linedy starred in the titular role of Cinderella in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BAD CINDERELLA, and was named to Variety’s 10 Broadway Actors to Watch List.
Full theater credits include: Broadway: On Your Feet! (OBC), Dear Evan Hansen, Bad Cinderella (OBC); Tours: Dear Evan Hansen; Regional: Passing Through, West Side Story, Havana Music Hall, A Taste of Things to Come, In the Heights.

“Bad Cinderella” Performed by Linedy Genao
There is a ramp to the right of the steps leading up to the entrance to the high school. Shelton High School does not have push-button access.
There are accessible seating options throughout the venue. These seats have swing arms and space considerations for wheelchairs or service animals. There is also companion seating available. Please refer to the seating chart to find these seats or inquire about these options when contacting the box office or email access@newhavensymphony.org.
The auditorium at Shelton High School is located on the south side of the building, near the football field. There is a surface lot that is free to use, which is located directly in front of the auditorium entrance. Accessible parking spaces are available on the west side of the parking lot. Patrons are welcome to use the fire lane for drop-off and pick-up purposes.
The restrooms are located in the main hallway. From the entrance, continue straight, past the hall that is labeled “Percy Kingsley Auditorium.” The bathrooms are on the left-hand side of the hallway, immediately past the gymnasium. There are two multi-stall restrooms and a single-user restroom. The multi-stall restrooms are labeled according to gender. We invite patrons to use whichever restroom best corresponds with their gender identity.
Sensory kits and earplugs are available at all of our concerts. Patrons can also request to borrow ear defenders for the duration of the concert. To obtain a pair, see a staff member.
Large print programs are available at all of our concerts and can be acquired from a staff member or visit the welcome table.
