If Mozart lived today would he be a rock legend? That’s the question the NHSO String Quartet will answer when they present What if Mozart Played Guitar Hero? on the NHSO Family Concert Series, Saturday January 21, 2:00pm at the Omni New Haven Hotel and Sunday, January 22, 2:00pm at Shelton Intermediate School.

The NHSO String Quartet re-imagines classic rock music as it may have been played in the Viennese Court in this 50-minute performance. With rock favorites like Purple Haze, Eleanor Rigby, and Stairway to Heaven performed on violin, viola, and cello, this is a concert every member of the family can enjoy.
