Two spooky pumpkins painted for Halloween are sitting on a pile of leaves with festive corn cobs placed on either side. There are two smaller pumpkins in the foreground of the photo, as well.

Join the New Haven Symphony Orchestra String Quintet and singer/host Charlie Widmer as we explore Harvest/Autumn music from around the world. This 45-minute program is interactive and perfect for wiggly, enthusiastic audience members. NHSO Family Concerts are fun, interactive, and designed for children ages 3-9. FREE for the whole family!

This performance on November 6 will be adapted to be sensory friendly. What does this mean? At this performance you can expect:

  • Lowered lights
  • Lower volume from musicians
  • A quiet, chill-out room
  • Room in the back of the performance space where you can still watch/hear the concert but be engaged with other activities
  • Fidgets will be available
  • Internal ear plugs will be available, but we recommend bringing your own noise-cancelling headphones if you have them.

Do you have questions about this performance or want to ask about other accommodations? Please reach out to Engagement@NewHavenSymphony.org.
