David Southorn first dazzled New Haven audiences in his role as Concertmaster with the 2018 Opening Night performance of Scheherezade. He steps into the spotlight again for two dramatic works for solo violin and orchestra by Arvo Pärt and Aaron Kernis. This celebration of the orchestra’s string family will also pay homage to beloved masterworks by Mozart and Haydn.
