A TASTE OF THE CLASSICS
Fourth Annual NHSO Wine Tasting

New Haven, CT, March 5, 2010: The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Wine Tasting, A Taste of the Classics, to be held Friday, April 9, 2010, 6:00-9:00pm at the New Haven Country Club, 160 Hartford Turnpike, Hamden.

Wine Experts from all over Connecticut will guide guests through a worldwide selection of wine. Amity Wine & Spirits of New Haven is the exclusive wine sponsor for the evening. Guests will taste an array of wines from throughout the world. Those in attendance may place wine orders through Amity Wine & Spirits at significant discounts. The New Haven Country Club will offer an array of hors d’oeuvres and desserts specially prepared to complement the wines.

The event closes with a raffle drawing of three fabulous prizes to be awarded. Grand Prize is a cruise for two along the Mediterranean Sea from Rome to Athens in an ocean view cabin aboard the Ocean Princess, with seven ports of call including Santorini and Mykonos, Greece. Includes 8 days/7 nights accommodations, meals, entertainment, and roundtrip airfare. 2nd Prize is an Apple MacBook Pro notebook complete with a 13 inch backlit display, and a 250GB hard drive. 3rd Prize is a 4GB Amazon Kindle with global 3G wireless coverage, PDF support, text-to-speech capabilities, and automatic screen rotation.
