New Haven, CT, October 14, 2010: The New Haven Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the recipients of its 4th Annual Women of Note, which celebrates outstanding women for their commitment and contributions to southern Connecticut communities.
The honorees for this year’s event are: Christine Alexander (Founder, New Haven Reads), Sonia Baghdady (Anchor, WTNH News 8), Nancy Cassella (Longtime NHSO Volunteer), Donna Doherty (New Haven Register), Jin Hi Kim (NHSO Composer-in-Residence), Ruth Lapides (Longtime Arts Patron), Amy Meyers (Director, Yale Center for British Art), Mary Jane Minkin (Respected OB/GYN), Kate Remington (WSHU), and Erica Tannen (Founder, The E-List).
Join the NHSO in honoring these extraordinary women with a Fashion Show and Luncheon Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club, Branford from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. The Women of Note will be dressed with fashions provided by The Apparel Shop—The Shops at Saybrook Country Barn, hair by Timothy Pamment Salon, and makeup by Jennie Fresa Beauty Library.
