  • New Haven Symphony 120th Anniversary Biergarten Gala

    The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) celebrates its 120th anniversary with a festive Biergarten Gala on Saturday, November 16 at 6:00pm in the Adanti Ballroom at Southern Connecticut State University.  The Gala is generously supported by People’s Bank, Sacred Heart University, Southern Connecticut State University, Whitney Center and Newtown Savings Bank. 

  • The Princess & The Firebird – School Night at the Symphony

    The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) presents a spectacular evening of incandescent ballet music!  Music Director William Boughton conducts The Princess & The Firebird, a program which brings to life Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, Stravinsky’s Firebird, and more on Saturday, November 23 at 7:30pm at Woolsey Hall in New Haven.

    The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) continues its 120th season with a thrilling concert experience!  Music Director William Boughton conducts Lyricism & Longing on Thursday, November 7 at 7:30pm at Woolsey Hall in New Haven.  The Symphony will perform Samuel Barber’s aching Adagio for Strings and works by William Walton, the Yale Glee Club will join the Orchestra for selections from Charles Ives, and Concertmaster Ani Kavafian will take on Vaughan Williams’ soaring Lark Ascending.

  • William Boughton Receives Chamber of Commerce Award

    The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) congratulates Music Director William Boughton, who will be celebrated by the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce for his accomplishments as an Alumnus of the Leadership Center.
