The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) is committed to the importance of music education in our children’s lives and proudly presents The 77th Annual Young People’s Concert Series; This Land is Your Land. The concert series features music by American composers including Aaron Copland, Charles Ives, John Philip Sousa, and George Gershwin’s masterpiece, An American in Paris, a work that suggests the sounds of Paris street life. The concert series is Wednesday, April 1, 9:30am and 11:30am at Woolsey Hall, New Haven, with repeat performances, April 2, through 7 at Fairfield Warde High School, Fairfield, Parson’s Complex, Milford, Seymour Middle School, Seymour and Hyde Cultural Complex, Woodstock.
