The New Haven Symphony Orchestra Pops and Associate Conductor Gerald Steichen bring New York City to New Haven as they present a spectacular evening of Broadway’s most popular music in Best of Broadway.

The entire New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) family is delighted to announce the appointment of internationally renowned violinist, Ani Kavafian as concertmistress of the NHSO.

Following a ground breaking year, Music Director William Boughton will conduct the New Haven Symphony Orchestra in the 2008-09 season opening concert, French Twist.

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra was looking forward to welcoming singer Steve Lippia in a tribute to Frank Sinatra at the Shubert Theater on Friday, September 26, 2008 and again on Sunday, September 28 at the Shelton Intermediate School.

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) completed two days of filming yesterday in New Haven’s historic Woolsey Hall as part of the upcoming Miramax film Everybody’s Fine.
