What to Expect

  • A concert of instrumental music by a large orchestra conducted by the NHSO’s music director Alasdair Neale
  • The first half of the program will be the music by Coleman (6 minutes), Price (13 minutes), and then soloist Tai Murray will come out to play the Stravinsky with the orchestra (25 minutes). Then there will be a 15 minute intermission. The second half of the program will be Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony (35 minutes).
  • Audience members of all ages are welcome. The full concert might be long for some elementary school-aged children; we recommend trying just the first half of this concert if you’re planning to bring young children.
