Sovereignty: Breonna’s Legacy Art Show

FREE ADMISSION
Attendees will experience various Greater New Haven-based poets, spoken word artists, musicians, and visual artists who center the liberation of Black bodies.
This curation team will purchase artwork from each artist; these pieces will make up the art giveaway. There will be no tabling fees for visual arts to display their work, thus creating a financially equitable art show.
This program is inspired by breathe/burn, a concert performed by the New Haven Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Southern CT State University.
Presented in partnership with Black Lives Matter New Haven, Liberation U, The Sun Experience LLC, and Long Wharf Theatre.
