  • NHSO Pops Performs First Musical, My Fair Lady, March 18 & 19

    I could have danced all night! The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) will perform its first musical, Lerner & Lowe’s My Fair Lady, in concert Saturday, March 18 at 2:30pm at Hamden Middle School and Sunday, March 19 at 3:00pm at Shelton High School.

  • NHSO Family Series will Huff and Puff and Travel the World with Three Little Pigs

    The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) 2017 Family Series continues its journey “Around the World” at Three Little Pigs Saturday, March 25, at 2:00pm at Davis Street School in New Haven and Sunday, March 26, at 2:00pm at Shelton Intermediate School in Shelton.

  • 350+ Musicians from Across CT Combine Forces for Verdi's Requiem March 2

    The vocal forces of the Fairfield County Chorale and Hartford Chorale will combine with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) for a blockbuster performance of Verdi’s Requiem Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 7:30pm in Woolsey Hall. Led by NHSO music director William Boughton, the concert also will feature special guest vocal soloists Amanda Hall, Kirstin Chávez, Alex Richardson, and Nathan Stark.

    The NHSO Board of Directors is pleased to announce the names of the Music Director candidate finalists who will guest conduct three of the 2017-2018 season concerts.

  • 2017 Family Series Takes Audiences on Musical Journey "Around the World"

    These concerts, presented free of charge, are programmed specifically for children ages 3-7 and encourage audience members to listen, play, and participate in the music through interactive programs inspired by children’s literature.
