The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) will “Deck the Halls” of Hamden and Shelton with festive seasonal music at Home for the Holidays on Saturday, December 13 at 2:30pm at Hamden Middle School and Sunday, December 14 at 3:00pm at Shelton Intermediate School.

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) will host Grammy Award nominated and internationally beloved jazz musician and composer Chris Brubeck as its 2015 Artist-in-Residence beginning in late February through May 2015.

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) and Yale Opera will present a fully staged performance of Puccini’s opera Suor Angelica at Puccini, Virtue and Redemption on Thursday, November 20 and Friday, November 21 at 7:30pm at St. Mary’s Church.

Led by Chelsea Tipton in his debut as NHSO Principal Pops Conductor, the program will feature the NHSO with opera and Broadway stars Carol Dusdieker and Nat Chandler singing show tunes from Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Carousel, Gypsy, South Pacific and more.

The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) invites you to experience an exciting free summer concert with the dynamic Brubeck Brothers Quartet, Saturday, August 2 on the New Haven Green.  An NHSO Jazz Sextet will perform at 6:00pm and the Brubecks will take the stage at 7:30pm.  Presented by the NHSO and Jazz Haven in cooperation with Mayor Toni Harp, the New Haven Board of Alders, and the Department of Arts, Culture & Tourism.
