Join the NHSO and Music Director William Boughton on Thursday, September 16, 7:30pm, at Woolsey Hall for Lyrical Romance featuring Schumann’s Overture, Scherzo and Finale, Brahms’ beloved Symphony No. 1 and Elissa Lee Koljonen performing Bruch’s Violin Concerto in G minor.
Presented in the format of a discussion, rehearsal, and premiere performance, local pianist and composer Stacey Rose—together with Maestro Boughton and the NHSO—will debut Raisons d’Être for solo piano and fifty-piece symphony orchestra to the New Haven Community.
